Pauline FischerBoard Member

Ms. Fischer is a seasoned media and technology executive having worked at a variety of companies including Paramount Pictures and Netflix, Inc.  Currently, she is involved in a variety of business development projects in the sector.  In her prior role at Netflix, she spearheaded the Original Film initiative focused on producing and acquiring feature films for exclusive distribution on Netflix. In this role, she and her team secured various ground-breaking deals such as those for Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon: The Green Legend, War Machine, starring Brad Pitt with his company, Plan B Entertainment, producing, and a four-picture deal with Adam Sandler’s Happy Madison Productions.

Her career has also included strategic planning, business development, and finance. Ms. Fischer was awarded a High Tech Fellowship from Harvard Business School and authored several case studies including BET.com, CNET.com, and RadioOne. She serves on the board of The Blackhouse Foundation, a non-profit created to help increase the diversity of filmmakers in the industry.

Ms. Fischer received her B.A. in Economics-Business from UCLA and is an alumna of the JD/MBA program at Harvard.
